Thesis
TLDR The next wave of business software will be built by agents. We are building the leading sovereign infrastructure that enables vibe-coders and tinkerers to build company brains and ai-transformation software without building data-bases, vector search and authentication. Our head start is an audited and production-tested technology and a half a million community to launch into.
Our thesis
The world is about to see a massive boom in custom software. People and companies will increasingly build software specifically for themselves and their own workflows. But very few of them will be able to build high-quality underlying infrastructure, this is not something you can vibe-code.
That is where we play.
any.org is a sovereign back-end for apps and agents. It makes it easy to build company brains, productivity, knowledge management, AI-transformation software, and custom business apps. It works as a context engine and gives your agents an edge - you repeat less, and improve faster.
Building an LLM-native app today means stitching together a database, a vector search and auth before touching UX and agentic workflows. Simon at Creandum spent six months on his digital brain, and will spend hundreds of hours more to keep it alive. With any.org there is nothing to set up or maintain: you tell an agent what you envision, and it works reliably from day one.
any.org has a built-in harness, exceptionally strong at working with data and databases. It is designed specifically to operate over persistent, structured information and has strong primitives to build software. Programs are saved into the same database as reusable capabilities, so the system gets better and cheaper the longer you use it. any.org is true to its mission of digital independence. It provides business and knowledge software with model-independence and ownership of memory and context from the box.
Fundraising
We are raising $1.5M for 24+ months of runway to make any.org the default backend for vibe-coders and tinkerers building agentic business and knowledge applications. We aim to sustain at least 3x annual revenue growth and reach profitability within this funding cycle. Our lean burn rate puts break-even within reach at under $1M ARR.
Why invest
We have been building in the knowledge management and collaboration category for years and have developed the best in class sovereign infrastructure for this use case. It's battle tested in production for years, its security has been audited by Cure53. Now we take that strongest part and package it into a much more focused new product. The custom-software boom is happening specifically in the segment of company brains, business software, internal tools, and knowledge applications - it's where our tech shines.
Our technical team is our strongest asset, with years of experience building protocols and databases for knowledge work. Tolya leads our harness development. He worked in AI since 2015 and with LLMs since 2021, his experience spans BMW, Oracle, CERN, AI at Pitch, and infrastructure at Chorus One, with contributions to Qdrant and Emacs. Sergey leads infrastructure, before anytype he was building backends at Wink (20 million MAU) and Game Insight (50 million MAU). His open-source side project serves 40 million users. Alex co-founded a ML-startup funded by Snap, Inc., it reached 11 million users and is now profitable.
We have one of the largest and most engaged communities in the space with half a million new people that we can roll our new product into. That gives us a very strong advantage to overcome the cold start. Our community exactly matches the profile of people we focus on - developers, operators and tinkerers building company brains, internal tools, knowledge systems, and custom software for businesses.
We will leverage repeatable channels that worked well for us before: product-led growth through relevant communities, SEO, and increasingly AI-native discovery through LLMs.
