# Source provenance

This publication is based on the clean local Multimem Git checkout at commit `7a075292ba63647d1767abb3e70684af1448233a` (October 27, 2026), with package version 0.2.0. The source manifest's thirteen payload files matched their recorded SHA-256 checksums and byte counts before publication adaptations. The local source repository has no configured remote; this document makes no claim about an upstream default branch or public release.

## Publication adaptations

The installer download base is changed from the docs-site asset origin to `https://any.org/assets/multimem`. Its download-only “next” guidance points to INSTALL.md and doctor, directs a verified existing space to `ensure` without `--create`, and reserves `--create` for an explicitly requested fresh space. These are URL and human-facing onboarding-text adaptations; installer behavior is otherwise identical to the source kit. The CLI publication adaptations append LICENSE and PROVENANCE.md to the hardcoded KIT_FILES list and correct the install report’s next-step guidance to distinguish a verified, pinned existing space from an explicitly approved fresh space. The same file list drives installation copies, handbook attachments and generated manifests, so all three retain the existing notice and source information. The report change is a message string only; no other CLI implementation is changed. The published README, installation instructions, handbook and skill retain the source kit's functionality while correcting existing-space setup guidance, installation examples and product capitalization for the Any website. The source `config.example.json` is preserved verbatim and explicitly opts into the brain pack and life preset; it is not a neutral configuration for an existing coding-memory space.

The source kit does not include a license file. This publication retains the MIT notice already distributed with Multimem as LICENSE. LICENSE and this provenance document are included in the publication manifest so downloaded installations carry the existing notice and source information. Manifest SHA-256 checksums, byte counts and SHA256SUMS are regenerated for the final published payload. Version remains 0.2.0.

Local-only operational notes, design proposals, Git state and personal configuration are not part of this distribution. No installer, hooks, setup, account or server operation was executed while preparing these files.
